Training is provided in-person at our main office location in Mount Pearl, at 3 Moffatt Rd.
Students who complete this course in its entirety are eligible for insurance discounts through most insurance providers. Please contact your provider for details. Students are also eligible to do their road test 8 months from the date their permit is issued. Please note that students must have completed the in-class portion of the course at least three months prior to the eligble road test date. Beginning the course at a later date may result in delays scheduling the road test as all lessons must be complete to qualify for the shortened wait period.
When students complete the classroom portion of the course, they are assigned to an instructor who will contact the student within 10 days to arrange their first in-car lesson. Parents should note the instructors communicate directly with students to book times. It is the student’s responsibility to inform parents of lesson times. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice or failure to show up for a lesson will result in a rebooking fee.
For the convenience of parents and students, we offer pick up and drop off service at schools, home or at a work location. If the location is more than 25 km from the office, an extra fee may apply.
The vehicle in which you are trained will be available to you for the road test, and scheduling will be coordinated with your instructor.
In the Metro Region, we offer in-car lessons in Ukrainian, Russian and Polish.
Students are required to pay the Motor Registration Division (MRD) directly for the road test (Non-Commercial Road Test) either through their personal MyGovNL account or the local MRD office and must have their receipt with them when they go for the road test. This is not included in the cost of the course.
Private lessons are also available.
An administrative fee of $20 will be applied for transfers and cancellations. We require a minimum of 48 hours notice. Some exemptions may apply.
